A local family and I took some time yesterday afternoon in some glorious late day light to photograph their family portraits. The little one, 7 months old, did well enough with my massive camera clicking on her nonstop! We got a handful that I am happy with. And to boot it was a great opportunity to spend time with a really special family on a really perfect day!

Laid out all week in bed with a horrible cold, I was downright fearful of the reality that Sunday I was going to be responsible for photographing the wedding of a really great couple. And the weather forecast was mirroring my physical state, looking gloomy. But as the weekend approached, the world spun around, the forecast changed to perfect and my health recovered. It was a BEAUTIFUL ceremony, a really great couple and a really fun crowd. So glad it all came together for perfection!

Last week I was honored to photograph and thus witness the incredible talent show put on by a local fifth grade class! There was jump roping, singing, dancing, gymnastics, you name it! And they were all fantastic! There was a string ensemble and a rock band, I mean they really had it all!

I got another opportunity to photograph a bar mitzvah for a local family and enjoyed the chance to witness their celebration and be a part of the festivity. A service in a newly renovated, absolutely stunning temple and a reception later that evening at a boat club in town! It was a lot of fun and a I would like to extend a big congratulations to the bar mitzvah boy and his entirely warm and wonderful family!
