Andrew and I had the opportunity a couple weeks back to meet the newest additions to our beloved neighborhood when dear neighbors invited us to see and photograph their brand new twin girls.  They are positively beautiful and amazingly small in every detail!  We had a great time, my first time, actually, photographing anyone so young!

I was utterly impressed and truly touched to learn this week that a photograph of mine was used as a source for a wood carving from another local artist, Steven Adler-Golden!  The performance being photographed was one of such amazing raw talent from so many sources, I still, to this day, remain impressed by it’s memory!  The pictures in no way did justice to what happened on stage that night, but this wood carving brings life to the moment in a way that my photography was unable to do!  My congratulations to Steven on a job very well done!

I had another great opportunity to visit a school and photograph the day that parents and parents of parents were invited to share in the talents and treasures of the youngest generation.  Can’t help but admit, it was quite touching at times.  Children so adorable and talented and eager to share what they had been learning at school!  I enjoyed my morning with these families tremendously!
