Some fun times and some incredibly tempting treats were shared by all at a local schools carnival event the weekend before last!  I had a great time, enjoying a beautiful day with families from all over, gathered together to share in games, treats, prizes and entertainment.  As an additional plus, we were able to simultaneously enjoy some blue skies, warm temperatures and glorious autumn colors!

Another beautiful and meaningful event in honor of the bar mitzvah of a young man from Worcester.  A warm and loving family pulled off a truly remarkable event all held within their temple.  I enjoyed working with them greatly, the party was quite a lot of fun – a social hall transformed into a gala event with a Red Sox theme!

I had a lot of fun shooting some of the remarkable instructors at a newly renovated yoga studio in Newtonville, MA on Tuesday.  I’ve been working with Justine, owner of Down Under Yoga, for months now to produce an impressive display of beautiful photographs printed and stretched on canvas for her gallery space which includes work from local artists Rick Bern, Kiernan Conroy Klosek and quite soon, work from yours truly as well.  It really is a stunning collection so far … and growing!  If you’re not into yoga, stop in just for the photography exhibit!  The new space is really quite beautiful!

I had a really meaningful opportunity to photograph a Bar Mitzvah last weekend.  No pictures allowed during the ceremony so we took some beforehand with just the family present.  And then I photographed the celebration afterwards.  Although I was not present during the actual ceremony, everyone there was impressed by how well this particular young boy filled his role throughout it and the party was a celebration of him and his job well done at the Harry Parker Boat House in Brighton.  Cool venue, I had not been inside before this weekend.  It’s always a renewing experience to be a silent observer to a family’s joyous occasion!

I had a great time witnessing and photographing a dress rehearsal for a performance of Little Red Riding Hood being put on by Opera Boston last week in town.  The whole story, expressed through opera, within the short window of thirty minutes!  It really was a whole lot of fun to watch!
