Another year, and I was so pleased to be permitted once again to photograph The Congregational Church of Weston’s Good Friday Vigil.  This year with a concerted focus on the environment and the seven deadly sins, I found it as I always have, highly meaningful to witness and powerful to photograph.

As the show grows nearer, I grow more excited.  I went back a second time for another round of head shots for this talented bunch and could see the progress that has been made from the background as a silent observer and find myself very excited to see the full dress rehearsal this Thursday.  Come one, come all to the Hibernian Hall at The Roxbury Center for the Arts this Friday or Saturday night for an outstanding Mssng Lnks performance, free to the public.  Come early to get your seat!

I had a really special and highly meaningful opportunity to spend an hour photographing a women who has made a name for herself as a priest in the Ronan Catholic tradition.  I found her to be a wonderful person to spend the time with and enjoyed our conversation tremendously!

Another exquisite opportunity to witness the magic of Sam Martinborough of Mssng Lnks.  In a collaboration between Mssng Lnks and The Roxbury Center for Arts, a multigenerational performance of Scott Joplin’s opera, Treemonisha, is in the works and holds some real promise as far as I could see from photographing the cast at work during a rehearsal last Friday night.  I provided head shots and they provided the talent and I am truly looking forward to photographing the performance at the end of this month!  For more information about the show or the non-profit, please visit the website linked above.
