So just yesterday was the second annual World of Song Festival put on by my good friend Sam Martinborough of Mssng Lnks. Every year’s performance is more astounding than the last and just when you think it couldn’t possibly get better, low and behold … it does. The phenomenal leadership of this program brings together so many different people of all ages, all colors, all levels of expertise and training … to sing, perform and be together. It really is an inspiring event. And in all of it, I am reminded, how beautiful is the privilege of teaching; being a role model, a mentor, and a guide. The path is not always clear, and how blessed we are by those who consistently support us and inspire us to go further; to reach out, let go of our inhibitions and do more! So bravo to the vocalists and musicians who took part. And to Mssng Lnks, well done, most certainly!
